Changing roles of institutional repositories: The Archive of Maori and Pacific Music at the University of Auckland

For 35 years, the Archive of Maori and Pacific Music has operated out of the
University of Auckland. During that time, its focus progressively shifted
from serving the musical needs of students to offering a range of services
to the public of New Zealand and South Pacific island nations. It currently
curates the world’s largest recorded collection of traditional music from
the Pacific. In an illustrated seminar, Archive Director Richard Moyle will
profile the activities and highlights of this remarkable institution.
